After high school, Joe joined the Air Force and was stationed in Germany. He returned to Indiana and trained to be a Barber. In the 1970’s Joe moved to Englewood, Florida, where he opened Gentlemen’s Choice Barber Shop. He enjoyed bowling and golf. Joe was an active and respected member of his community. He was a Charter Member of Lemon Bay Sunrise Rotary. In 1999, Joe proudly earned his Bachelor of Liberal Studies Degree from Florida Southern College, in Lakeland, Florida. He retired in 2007.
Joe is survived by his loving Wife, Jean, his adored Daughter, Julia Rosa, his devoted son-in-law, Vincent Rosa, and his precious Grandson, Ezekiel. Additionally, his sister, Rebecca Morgan and nephew John Morgan, and niece Kimberly Fiedler.
Joe courageously fought Alzheimer's Disease for 7 years.
