Elizabeth Emmelkamp was born in Brooklyn, New York to Patrick and Elizabeth Mullan on February 4, 1942. She attended Plainview High School in Long Island, New York. Elizabeth was an executive secretary in Manhattan, NY. When she moved to Florida in 1980, Elizabeth worked as a manager at Westinghouse Electric Corporation. Elizabeth was very devout in her Catholic faith. She attended mass daily and volunteered as a Eucharist minister, homebound and nursing home minister as well as teaching CCD to kindergartners.
Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Victor of Venice, Florida; brothers David and Patrick Mullan, sister, Cathy Avies ( Chris), brother in law, John Paterno, stepsons Robert (Kat), Scott (Debbie), James (Cathy), 10 grandchildren, one great grandchild, and 7 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Mary Paterno.
Funeral mass will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Grove City, FL on Monday, May 23 at 9:30 am.
