David Prescott Brooks

He graduated from Lowell Technological Institute, where he earned his degree in engineering, leading him to a career that culminated at FlexCon Company, Inc. in Spencer, MA, where he retired in 2014. Dave and Patricia, his wife, enjoyed most of their retirement in Englewood, Fl, where he was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church.

Dave was a devoted husband, loving father, and adoring grandfather. He loved traveling with his wife and friends, playing cards, bowling, fishing, time at the beach, dancing at the Moose, and spending time with his sons and grandchildren.

Dave is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Patricia, his sons David (Crystal), Scott, and Stephen (Shannon), and seven grandchildren, Shelby, Hannah, Damion, Georgia, Zakkary, John, and Adrian. Dave leaves his mother, Olive Grenier, three sisters, Carol (Keith) Dowden, Nancy (Michael) Nichols, Janice Grenier, his brother Paul (Nancy) Grenier and sister-in-law, Joyce Marcelonis as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his stepfather Leo Grenier and brother Leo Grenier, Jr.

A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Francis of Assisi Church on Friday, May 5, 2023, at 9:30 am.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Francis of Assisi Church, Parish Outreach Fund or Church Roof Fund, 5265 Placida Rd., Grove City, FL 34224
