It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of James Patrick Kelly on Friday, November 23, 2018, at the age of 74. An Air Force veteran, James served overseas as an Air Traffic Controller during the Vietnam War. After his honorable discharge in 1968, Jame continued his air traffic controller career for 36 years with the FAA, where he acquired his perennial nickname, “Tony.” He was the ultimate people person, making life-long friends wherever he went, whether holding court at his beloved
American Legion or at the local supermarket.
James is is survived by Elizabeth, his loving wife of 15 years, and his many brothers and sisters: Doreen, April, Brian, Philip, Annette and Tim, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and many, many dear friends. He will remain forever in our hearts.
