George Chester “Buster” Virden, 88, of Ellensburg, died on Sunday, August, 11, 2013. He was born April 8, 1925, in Ellensburg. In the 1950’s-1960’s, he drove truck for Holmes Brothers Ready-Mix Concrete in Moses Lake, WA. During the 1970’s-1980’s, he drove dump trucks and water trucks for Boise Cascade Corporation in Ellensburg, WA. Buster enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping.
He is survived by his sons, Curt Virden of San Jose, California, and Larry Virden of Ellensburg; and his sister, June Waters of Ellensburg.
