Not quite sure how we got to talking about you and Scott today but decided to look on-line to see if we could find anything. So incredibly saddened to see that Scott passed away in October. We echo Terry, Gary, Tammy and Dana’s thoughts. Those were some of the best times of our lives - filled with friendship and laughter and Scott was always at the center of the fun. Still remember the marathon day we spent at Busch Gardens in Tampa.  A lot of great memories from those minor league years.

Lisa....I am so sorry to hear about Scott...my prayers are with you and your family. I’m sure John and Scott are giggleing their butts off right now, being silly and pulling pranks on all the other angels.  He was a huge part of some of our best times in baseball...God bless you and your family....😇

Lisa, I learned of Scott's passing while reading the recent Boston Red Sox Diamond Days publication.  My heartfelt sympathy goes out to you and your family.  I couldn't help but reflect on my many fond Scott Wade memories beginning in 1984 in Sarasota instructional league until 1992 in Scranton when Scott and Trem played in the Phillies organization.  It seems like yesterday when he hit 3 HR's in a single game in Toledo.  The trip we took to Fort Lauderdale beach in 1985 during the FSL all-star break in his Nissan Maxima singing Billy Oceans Caribbean Queen was unforgettable.  Scott made some of those long minor league seasons bearable with his wit and smile.  In 1988-1989, when you guys were married and you spent the baseball season living in Pawtucket, when we returned from a long-road trip he always was so excited to get home to see Lisa when we finally pulled into McCoy Stadium.  May God's peace be with the entire Wade family during this difficult time.

I worked with Scott for a few years at the gym, and it seemed that every time we ran into one another, it was at the snack machine. He was so sweet with a kind heart, and always smiling. Such a great person.

Tim and I are extremely sad to here the news of Scott’s passing.  I will always remember him on the football field helping the boys grow and learn to be better men.  He was always a positive and supportive role model to his family and those around him.  Please know if there is anything we can do to help out please do not hesitate to stop by the house.

Andy and I were shocked and saddened to hear the news of Scott's passing. He is a wonderful man, a terrific father, husband and an awesome friend to many.  His kindness and generosity will never be forgotten. He always greeted everyone with a smile and genuinely cared.   Our hearts hurt for you all. Scott's loving spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.  One life lived, many lives touched. There are many times when we are not  prepared for what life brings us and we are not sure how to feel, react, or be.  Just know that there is no right way or wrong way to grieve.  Lean on those who love you for strength, and may those loving memories that you hold near, help to bring you comfort and peace in the days to come.  Love never dies....

Scott was the best neighbor anyone could have.   He was always happy to see us outside and would take time to chat.   Easy going and kind , Scott  was a joy to be around.  Scott loved his family and was proud of each one of his children.    His deep love for his wife Lisa was obvious.      Our daughter Kelsey was very fond of Scott as he would ask her how her sports were going and give her his big smile hearing about what she was up to.      Such a wonderful life has been cut short far to soon, but his light and love carry on through his wonderful family.      We are praying for the peace and comfort of Scott's family as they go through this painful time.       

I was deeply saddened when I learned of Scott's passing.  I can speak for all of the instructors at BASES when I say that we will all miss Scott's friendly smile and positive attitude.  He has been an inspiration to many young ballplayers and has instructed all with concern and encouragement over the past eight years or so at our facility.  He will be missed by all.  Scott was a great guy and caring soul.  Our prayers are with the Wade family in this time of sorrow.

So sorry for your loss. Growing up and playing sports with Scott in  Seabrook, we knew he was a special person and talent.  My Dad especially loved Scott. He told me way to many times that I should try to be more like him.. I couldn't Scotty was way too nice. God Bless...

I just want you to know how much I loved your whole family. Of course I had a special bond with you and your Dad . I can remember so many great times with both of you . Golf, family holidays, sporting events, etc./ I remember when we you  & Lisa stayed with us in between baseball seasons to save money. I remember how we shared meals and how much we laughed when we were ready to eat chicken thighs for the hundredth time and you stared at Sharon until  you both   were in complete laughing jag. Your whole family was always great to me. Even after the divorce. Of course I always had a special bond with You  because of sports and kids. I will always remember laughing so much with him, my sides would hurt. I truly loved you . I could hardly sleep last night. Memories flowing through me. I pray for Lisa,  Tyler, Ryan and Madeline  and I'm sure Scott is at peace now with the Lord in his new body and is pain free. Try and stay strong through this ordeal .



My Favorite Memory was watching Scott and Lisa bring Maddie into the health club in her carrier... so that they two of them could workout together as husband and wife.  It was inspiring to see the love.  Scott has such a great love of his family and proud of this children and their accomplishments.  He spoke often of his love and respect for Lisa being a great wife and mother.  Scott put an imprint in the world of his lighthearted spirit and care for the people in his life.  The world was a better place with him in it-- but his spirit will live on in fond memories.  Sending much love-- Susan

I've know Scott since I was a small boy playing hoops in Lanham and through my adult years.  I lost my father way too early as well and it was all of the people that came out of the woodworks to let me know how special he was that gets me through it with a smile and a feeling of such pride in the way he impacted so many people in a positive nature.  I can tell you without a doubt your dad made me smile and laugh every time I got the chance to see him.  He always showed a genuine interest in what was going on with me and my family.  I hope the kindness he showed people is embedded in you for the rest of your lives.  I live in Kentucky now and I'm sorry I can't be there to say this in person.  I will never forget your dad!  I'm very sorry for your loss!!

I am so sorry to hear of your dad’s passing.  A mom and dad are seen in the character of their children and your mom and dad should be very proud.  Your dad made sure that I had first access to all the weight room equipment I wanted for Howard High when his gym got new equipment.  I remember him always being present at your games. 
May your mom and your sister and both of you know that his memory, like his presence in life, will always be with you.

I am deeply Saddened by the passing of Scott he and I grew up together in Seabrook, We played on many basketball and football teams he was a great friend and teammate,  We must of played 1,000 of games of whiffle ball over the summers in our youth... After High School Scott went to OSU and I went to rival MIZZOU, Although I haven't talked  to or seen Scott in many years he was never far from my heart!! Rest Easy my friend!! To the Wade family I send my heartfelt condolences on your loss!! May god grant you the strength to endure.

Scott has been a friend of mine for several years. In the past year he worked with my son, Michael, on his hitting. They developed a bond that went beyond coach and player. Scott spoken often of his family with us. We last spoke a few weeks ago and he as well as us were looking forward to continuing our lessons. We will deeply miss Scott as a coach, but more so as a friend. Michael and I send our condolences and prayers during this very difficult time. God bless.
