Ruby Eloise Slack, age 86, of Halethorpe, Maryland passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2021. Ruby was born September 25, 1934 in Fountaindale, Pennsylvania. Beloved wife of the late Daniel J. Slack, loving mother of Brian K. Slack and his wife Diane, Randy A. Slack, Wayne S. Slack and his wife Laurie, Donna L. Dolch and her late husband John Dolch, the late Gary J. Slack. Sister of Howard Cline and his wife Jean, Richard Cline and his wife Barbara and the late Leona Bumbaugh. Devoted grandmother of Erik, Crystal, Amber "Nikki", Ashley, Joseph, Steven, Matthew, Ashley, Adam and Christina. Great Grandmother of Aruna, Milo, Genie, Riley, Elijah, Cameryn, Wyatt and Katie. She is also survived by her devoted companion "Smalls" and many nieces, nephews and loving friends.
Family and friends are invited to gather at the Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Inc., 7250 Washington Boulevard, Elkridge, MD 21075 (Exit 6 South off Route 100) on Monday, September 6, 2021 from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at the Lansdowne United Methodist Church, 114 Lavern Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21227 at 10:00 am. Committal Service and Interment will follow at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Elkridge, MD. Memorial contributions may be made in Ruby's memory to the Lansdowne United Methodist Church.
