Phillip Dean Adkins, age 64, of Westminster, Maryland passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2023. Phillip was born in Washington, D.C. to parents Thomas and Betty June Vermillion. He is predeceased by parents; grandparents Harry Wilford Adkins and Bertie Rachel Adkins. Phillip is survived by his Beloved Wife of 33 years, Florence Adkins; Aunt Carolynn McDonald and Aunt Mary Stone, Uncle Steven Wilford Adkins; and many cousins. Phillip is also survived by his beagle, Peaches, and cat, Dexter.
Phillip was an incredibly outgoing, kind, and loving man. He loved all sports, especially football, and enjoyed supporting the Commanders. Phillip enjoyed movies - any type - and always made time to watch Hallmark movies with his wife, Florence.
A visitation for Phillip will be held Thursday, September 14, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, 7250 Washington Blvd, Elkridge, MD 21075. A funeral service will occur Thursday, September 14, 2023 at 1:00 PM. Interment Meadowridge Memorial Park.
