On April 8, 2021, Mollie Wheatley Roemer passed away peacefully in Easton, Maryland at the age of 62. She was born in Baltimore, Maryland on March 26, 1959 to the late Katherine and Herman Roemer; Mollie was the dear sister of Carole Hickey and the late Jean Roemer and is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Mollie was a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Goucher College where she won an award that helped finance her law degree. Always excelling, she passed the bar and was offered a position in Annapolis with the state government. There were no limits to success with her potential. She hoped to become a judge and help people. A terrible disease called schizophrenia stole her dreams and eventually her life. Her family wants this farewell to become a plea to find the cure for diseases of the brain. We dearly loved our brilliant and beautiful Mollie. She would be so happy to think her death notice inspired people to end the suffering of so many others.
