12 long years since you left us, and I still miss you like yesterday.

Mom, it’s been 12 years since you left us, but I still wanted to let you know I love and miss you each and every day!  Not a day goes by that I don’t think about you and wish I could tell you how much you mean to me. Time doesn’t seem to make it any easier. Constantly thinking of you and Sandy makes me happy and sad at the same time! Needless to say, you guys are forever in my heart! Love forever!!!

The big 90.   

 Losing a mother is a pain that cannot be described in words. It is impossible to move on from the memory of losing the woman who sacrificed happiness in her own life so that you could have a better one. A mother’s love is truly irreplaceable. Nine years have gone by since you left us but it seems like it was only yesterday! I miss you as much now, as I did than, no matter what I do to move on from this pain, deep down inside I will always know that I’ll never get to hug my mom again, I know you are listening from the heavens above; I love you more than ever! I can't believe that in 10 Days you will gone for nine whole years.  I have missed you more than anyone will ever know.   Wish you were here with us, but I know you are in a much better place.

 Mom today is a sad day to remember, it is hard to believe that it has been thirteen years since we lost Sandy! I miss you both so much that it is unbearable at times! I know that you watch over her,  as you are well aware  she was always very independent  and that she had an ornery streak, so do your best to keep her straight! You both are always in my thoughts and prayers! Someday we will all be together again! Until than, Love and Miss you both!

Jan 2, 1932 a beautiful spirit came into this world and you left this world on Nov 12. 2012.  If you could have only stayed until this day you would have made a lot of people happy and we would have song Happy Birthday to you on your 89th birthday,  but GOD called you home to be with him.  I still am filled with sorry but yet happy because you no longer have to suffer.  The holidays without you are the hardest because I always spent them with you.   I love and miss you so much but I know one day when I am call upon to leave this earth I will be with you yet again.   Happy Birthday Mom    I love you

Tell her I love her and miss her, and when she turns to smile, place a kiss upon her cheek, and hold her for awhile.  Because remembering her is easy, I do it every day.  Having a mother in life is a true blessing that we enjoy. However sometimes we take things for granted thinking that we will have our moms with us forever. Reality soon sets in when we lose this wonderful woman that gave us life and has been a guiding force in so many of our decisions.
 Sweet memories of you keep us going even when the pain of losing you is still so fresh in our hearts. Mom we miss you so much.

Hello Mom,

I guess by now you have Donny in your arms.  Are family is coming back together one by one.   Sandy, Elmer and now Donny and of course you to run the show.  This year here on Earth has been a pretty bumpy one with all the things going on, but we will get by

Well I am still here.
All kinds of stuff have happened since the last time I wrote

She wiped away my tears and helped me understand

Every chapter full of memories, times of joy and tears,
Triumphs and defeats, through every passing year.
She loved us unconditionally, always by our side.
When no one else would listen, in her we could confide.
With gentle words of wisdom, she led us on our way,
Down the paths of righteousness if ever we did stray.
She saw the light in everyone and gave with no regrets,
Always from her heart, let's not forget.
Angels come in many forms; for me it was my mother.
With love I cannot say in words there'll never be another.
Every day I turn the page, in my heart will ever remain
Everything she taught me as I stroll down memory lane.
Thank you, God, for giving me the most priceless of all treasures.

Happy birthday, Mother. You are always the 1st person I think of whenever I wake up every morning. I always missed you so much and I miss you much more today as it is your birthday. You truly are the best mom anyone can have. I love you forever, love you to infinity and beyond.

Today is your 88th Birthday.  I don't know what present I would have gotten you, but I know it would have been a flower with it, because you are the flower in my life.  You were always there when we needed you and even when we didn't,  now since you have been gone for a little bit I know how much I miss you every day and it continues.  I miss you more and more.  Mom, grieving the first year is the hardest. The loss is so new, the first months can be spent in a blur of shock and disbelief. Now the seventh Mother’s Day without a mom! A seventh Christmas without a mom! I find myself thinking, “this isn’t any easier”.

Just an update Larry has finally moved down to NC and I hope he can slow down and enjoy his life now,  He was taking care of so many others up in MD but it will take him a while to get used to it but now he can spend his time and money on himself.

This time of year I miss you yelling at me to pull the weeds and plant some flowers, oh how I hated this time of year until now when I would love to hear you yelling or just supervising of how to do it.  You don't know what you have until it's gone.  I love and miss you Mom.

Yet the loneliness didn't disappear.

It is coming up on five years since the day you left us to return home.  I have so many things I needed your help with but I still have you in my heart and in my head guiding me.

Happy Birthday Mom,

It was eighty five years ago you came to be born here on earth.  You have done so much in very little time.  Now your gone and to such a better place.  
I miss you so much and every day I miss you a little more.  The holidays just were not the same without you, but I made it through somehow.

I always enjoyed bringing the kids to your house and letting them be around you,  now I am the Pop Pop and love having them all around me, but only for a short time.  I don't have the patience you had.  I will be thinking of you and always reminding the kids that you love them.  So until tomorrow morning when I speak to you and hear your voice in my head.

Today is another holiday without you and it doesn't seem much of a holiday. You were the glue to hold our family together but without you there is no family.  I must move on with my life and even though the pain and sting of not having you here stills aches in my heart I know you would not want Larry and I to mourn for the rest of our lives, but I know that we will always miss you until we join you again.  
I sit and look at all the photos of you and keep you close to me but as the days go on I still long to hear your voice but I know it will not come but in my dreams.
I watch old videos with us on the holidays and just sit and wonder where have they all gone,  now is the time to make new ones but I always reminds your grandchildren they way we were.

Well today is another day without you.  Thinking of you all the time and yet I know you are in better place.  Thinking of tomorrow being Independence Day and what it means, well to me it means that you finally are free to soar with the Angels and no more pain,  the pain remains here with us.  The pain of not having you here to call,  I speak to you all the time and I know you are listening but I can't hear your voice.  
They say time heals all wounds but my heart is still broken.  You were my rock and guardian but now you have gone.  I try to remain strong but sometimes I fall.   
I miss the cookouts at your house, but most of all I miss you.   
Time goes by so darn fast and I wish you were here to see all of your grandchildren and they to know you.

As time keeps on marching by, I sit and reflect back to the times when I needed to talk to someone and you were always there.  410-437-3132 will be in my mind till the end of time.  As I sit here typing on this board to you my eyes fill with tears just wishing you were here.  I hear you all the time telling me what I should be doing but all I can do is wish I could see you again. Mom,  I know you are here with us, I can feel your presence each and every day.  It gets harder and harder everyday with you not being here to guide us, but I am glad you gave us the wisdom to carry on. Just thinking about you, as always! I know that I keep saying I miss you more every day, didn't think it was possible but l do! Everything is going well, but would be much better if you were here. Mom this will be the 3rd year that you have not been here in body, but with us in spirit and memories with us for Christmas.  I try not to hinder everyone else's holiday, but it is not quite the same without you and never will be.  Your birthday is coming fast and another one without you.  
I will always remember you and the things you have taught me, but most important to me is that I will always have you in my heart.  I love you Mom

 Sitting here thinking about you as always! I keep listening to your favorite song, (My way) by Elvis and thinking how you always requested Julian to sing it at his shows. He always asked you not to request this song because the song was so hard to sing, but you did it anyway! Julian said that he would be on the verge of passing out at the ending of the song from having to carry the last note so long, but he would do it anyway because you requested it! You had a way of usually getting what you wanted! I really miss that as much as I miss you! Love you always!!!

As Thanksgiving and Christmas fastly approach, I miss spending them with you.  I wish you were here, but I know you are still watching over us from above. Today, it has been two years since you left us, you left us physically, but not in spirit and heart.  I miss you so terribly that I really can't express other than saying I love you.  I know you still are with me because I will always have the memory of you being my loving mother who would do anything for me.  I will remember you until the day I join you and knowing that you will be waiting for me makes it so much easier to handle.

Some good days and some bad.   I wish you were here to talk to.  I was watching a movie last evening and it reminded me so much of you and how I could just pick up the phone and you were there and then this empty feeling just fell over me knowing that I could not call you and and hear your voice.   I speak to you all the time but not hearing you is the worst part.   They say times heals the heart but I don't think my heart will ever be whole again.  I miss you sooo much and love you even more.

Missing you now more today than yesterday. Everything is good down here as you should well know. Life goes on but not as it did when you were with us! There is such an empty feeling without you!!! Love and miss you much.

They say time heals a broken heart,  I don't think so, each day I still want to hear your voice and yet I have yet to hear it.  One day I again will hear your loving voice and that day will be for eternity.   I sit and wonder what  everyone else is thinking and are they thinking of you on this day, but then I wonder why I am even wasting my time worrying about them and just relize that I am missing you.
