Frances May Entsminger, 88, passed away on 20 April 2023 at the Kempton of Jacksonville, North Carolina. Born on 6 June 1934 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Alfred B. and Geneva D. (Pilcher) Hollman. Frances was the wife of James T. Entsminger, her husband of 23 years. She was a graduate of Ellicott City High School, class of 1952. Frances was strong in her Christian Faith and Love of Jesus, loved her family, country and was a strong supporter of our Military. She enjoyed attending Church, shopping, supporting numerous charities, caring for family pets and working at Reedy Electric Company in Ellicott City, Maryland. She had great respect for the Reedy Family and was very appreciative of the company’s friendship and the great work environment they provided for her. Frances was a devoted wife, great mom, wonderful grandma, loyal family member, and friend to many. She is survived by son, David Thomas and his wife, Susanne; Grandson Daniel Thomas and his wife, Carrie; granddaughter, Sarah Koltvedt and her husband, Collin; Great Granddaughter Lily Thomas; sister Darlene H. Jessen; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Alfred B. and Geneva D. (Pilcher) Hollman; husband, James T. Entsminger; and brothers, William B. Hollman and George H. Hollman.
The family will receive friends on 5 May 2023 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Inc., 7250 Washington Blvd, Elkridge, MD 21075 (Exit 6 South off Route 100) where Funeral Services will be held on 6 May 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Meadowridge Memorial Park.
