Clifford August Browne, age 79, of Hanover, Maryland passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 27, 2020. Beloved husband of the late Anna M. Horner Browne. Loving father of Phyllis Browne, Philip Browne (Mary), Mark Browne (Julie), and Stephen Browne (Susan). Cherished grandfather of Philip Browne Jr., Sean Browne, Rachel Browne, Josh Browne, Ryan Hessler, Sarah Hessler, Sarah Browne, Adam Browne, Sharon Belt, Tim Belt, and Nicholas Browne. Clifford is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren, along with many other loving family and friends. He is preceded in death by his sisters Caroline Houghtling and Jane Chiveral.
Family and friends are invited to gather at Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Inc. 7250 Washington Blvd., Elkridge, Maryland 21075 (Exit 6 South off Route 100) on Monday, August 31, 2020 from 5:00pm until the start of A Celebration of Life Service at 8:00pm. With limitations made to funeral practices due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all guests are asked to wear a mask and practice social distancing per current public health guidelines.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Clifford's name to the Maryland 4H Foundation or the American Cancer Society.
