Albert "Skip" Francis Wenk, age 82, of Columbia, Maryland passed away surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, April 12, 2022. Skip was born April 2, 1940 in Elizabeth, New Jersey to Frank and Kathryn Wenk (nee Gorczyca). Beloved husband of Sheila R. Wenk of 58 years; Loving father of Kathleen Wegner (Paul), Suzanne Hovermale (Rob), Heidi Sormaz, and the late Sarah Rae Wenk; Cherished grandfather of Michael and Kevin Wegner, and Bailey and Bethany Hovermale; Dear brother of Patricia Strachan (late Robert Strachan), and the late Mary Anne Tyson (late Russ Tyson).
A Memorial Gathering for Skip will be held Sunday, April 24, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, 7250 Washington Blvd, Elkridge, MD 21075. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, April 25, 2022 at 11:00 AM at St. Lawrence Martyr Catholic Church, 7850 Parkside Blvd, Hanover, MD 21076.
