Erma Marie Nemec

Erma M. Nemec 95, of Torch Lake died on Wednesday December 29, 2010 at her home with her daughters Louise and Patti at her side. She was a member of the Kewadin United Methodist Church. Erma was a homemaker and a dedicated employee of Wandawood Resort for over 35 years. Erma enjoyed her many close friends and playing cards and dancing, especially the Polka’s. She truly loved her family and grandchildren. Erma is survived by her daughters, Louise (Bill) Brunelle, Jane (Jack) Orr, Joyce (Ron) Grammar, Linda Newhouse, and Patricia (Gordon) Converse,(17) grandchildren, (25) great-grandchildren, (20) great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry Nemec, her parents, and (11) siblings. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday January 2, 2011 at 2pm from the Kewadin United Methodist Church, with visitation one hour prior. Burial will take place in Maple Grove Cemetery in the spring.
