William Sherman Milstead, Sr., a proud, retired Army veteran and dedicated small business owner, passed away October 9, 2024. Preceded in death by his beloved parents, Claudie and Brady Milstead, William leaves behind a loving family, including his sister, Francis Koch, sons, William (wife, Jasmine) Milstead, Jr. and Daniel (wife, Jennifer) Milstead, and his step-daughters, Connie Bradford, Renee' East and Sonya (husband, Tommy) Hill. His legacy also lives on through his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In both his military service and his entrepreneurial endeavors, William exemplified honor, hard work, and perseverance. He will be cherished and remembered by all who had the privilege to know him.
He will be deeply missed.
A private graveside service will be held at the Radcliff Veterans Cemetery with full military honors.
