Marta E. Higgason passed away on April 24th, 2025, at her home in Buffalo,KY at the age of 72 after suffering from Alzheimer's for the last 4 years. She was born August 23,1952 to the late Martin and Shirley Hazelett of Elizabethtown.
Preceded in death by her brothers, Michael and Jim Hazelett.
Marta is survived by her husband of 38 years, Steve Higgason; sister, Anne Cecil of Vine Grove. Along with numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be at Brown Funeral Home Thursday, May 1, at 11:00 A.M. Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 30 from 3:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M.
