She was a cook at Hardin Memorial Hospital and worked for Hardin County Schools for 15 years. She loved to travel and loved line-dancing. Audrey also enjoyed motorcycles and mustangs and most of all, she loved to bake. Audrey was saved as a child at a tent revival. As a child of 9 years, she lost her mother. One by one the family circle will never be broken.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hilary and Ollie Peters; one sister, Carolyn Goodman; two brothers, Froman and Michael Peters; one sister-in-law, Betty Peters; and two brother-in-law's, Gary Sanders and Joey Guffey.
She is survived by three sons, Derrick (Christy) Wallace, Jason (Amy) Wallace, and Shawn (Christopher) Wallace; one brother, Duel Peters of Elizabethtown; three sisters, Lecia Sanders, Vertricia Guffey, and Violetta Peters, all of Elizabethtown; a brother-in-law, Ronnie Goodman of Cecilia; and five grandchildren, Case, Emma, Grayson, Oliver, and Nolan; and one granddog, Chambord.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Monday, February 27, 2023 at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown.
The funeral is 12 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial follows in Howe Valley Cemetery.
