Virginia Mills Lewis

Virginia Grace Lewis (Mills), passed away on August 14, 2024, in El Paso, Texas, at the age of 100. Born on February 27, 1924, in Riegelsville, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Mildred Mills.

Virginia was a kind and gentle soul cherished by all who knew her. Her warmth and compassion touched the lives of many, and her legacy will be remembered through the love she shared with family and friends.

She is survived by her loving son, George D. Lewis Jr.; daughter, Beverly Wilkerson; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, who will miss her dearly. Virginia was also preceded in death by her husband George Diggs Lewis and her son, Timothy Harold Lewis.

A graveside service to honor and celebrate her life will be held at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery in El Paso, Texas, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave., on August 29, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. Virginia's life and memory will be cherished by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
