Victoria Borjon Mendoza, was born on April 22, 1934 in Fabens, Texas and passed away on April 17, 2022 in EL Paso, Texas. She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Preceded in death by her parents Jose D. and Maria C. Borjon, husband Jose R. Mendoza, brothers, Juan
C. Borjon and Benigno C. Borjon. She is survived by her children Albert "Vincey" (Norma Jean) Mendoza, Joe "Joey" (Barbara +) Mendoza, Anita (Gina) Mendoza, Sylvia "Chickie" (Danny) Torres, and Brother Jose D. Borjon Jr., 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
The Consummate Professional, an LVN who rose through the ranks in her field to become charge nurse of emergency and surgical floors. Highly regarded by her peers, subordinates and superiors. Working under the most stressful conditions with steadfast professionalism and compassion. Always regarded as a "True Lady" who loved her music, family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday April 22, 2022 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with the Rosary at 7:00 pm at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 N. Carolina. The Funeral Mass will be held on April 23, 2022 at St. Marks Catholic Church at 10:00 am, 11700 Pebble Hills Blvd. 79936 with the Burial to follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
