Victor is survived by his wife, Josephina Lopez (Josie), his children, Martin Richard & Estela G Lopez, Hector Manuel & Samantha Lopez, Victor Manuel & Donna Lopez Jr. and Monica Isabel Lopez; his grandchildren, Tara Covey, Giovanna Lopez, Ziven Lopez, Aaron Lopez, Ieric Lopez, Isai Lopez, Miabella Lopez, Paulina Lopez, Justus Lopez, Evan Lopez, Victoria Lopez; Great Grandchildren, Bella Covey and Zaliah Covey; Sister Rachel Trevizo. He is predeceased by his parents, Armando Lopez and Beatrice La Form Lopez; his son, Victor Manuel Lopez Jr.; his brothers, Armando Lopez, Hector Lopez and Rene Lopez.
Victor was born in El Paso, Texas on September 18, 1945 to Armando Lopez and Beatrice La Form Lopez. He served in The United States Army from 1965 to 1968 and graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso in 1971 with a Bachelor in Business Administration. He worked as a Production Analyst for the El Paso Natural Gas Company in the Engineering Department for 23 years. He later went on to retire from The United States Department of Homeland Security as an Information Officer.
Victor was a loving husband to Josephina Lopez for 51 years, and devoted father to his children and grandchildren. He also dedicated his extra time to serving his community. As a member of the St. Pius X Catholic Church community, he was in the Knights of Columbus, the Men's Spirituality Group, the Ministers of Communion, the Colonia Ministry and That Man is You Men's Ministry. In earlier years he served as the Booster Club President, a member of the School Board for his children's school and Boy Scout Leader for his sons' troop.
Services as follows: Visitation Monday, February 21, 2022 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm with the Rosary at 7:00 pm at St. Pius X Catholic Church 1050 N. Clark, El Paso TX 79905. The Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at 9:30am at St. Pius X Catholic Church 1050 N. Clark, El Paso TX 79905 followed by the Graveside Service at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
