Rochelle Nieman, loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed away Dec. 30 in El Paso. She co-founded Abundant Living Faith Center with her husband Charles in 1977. Originally from Raton, N.M., Rochelle came to El Paso in 1968 and attended the University of Texas at El Paso where she met Charles, the love of her life. She also was the founder and superintendent of Faith Christian Academy. Rochelle loved life, meeting people and had a passion for helping others have a better life. It is reflected in the church?s numerous charities including the annual toy giveaways and clothing and food giveaways. Charles, her husband of 42 years, will forever cherish her memory along with their children Shannon Nieman Elias, (Matthew), Jared Nieman (Karla) and grandchildren Caleb Nieman and Emery Rochelle Nieman Elias. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Faith Christian Academy, 8960 Escobar Dr., El Paso TX 79907. The service will be at 7 p.m. Friday at Abundant Living Faith Center, 1000 Valley Crest Dr.
