Cousins: Mike, Ruben, Sonia, and Joe, I am so very sorry for your loss. I wish I was able to give you all a hug and tell you how sorry I am in person. I remember that your Dad had this little white dog that would do all of these crazy tricks. I was so in awe of how they interacted. Perhaps this same little white dog is keeping him company. I know that your love and memories of your Dad will carry you through this. You all are not alone; all of us are praying for and thinking of you. Tio, I remember the first time I met you. I was really small and we drove out to the middle of nowhere to help you because your car had broken down on your way home from the Navy. Got to meet Ruggles. Almost took my hand off when I tried to pet him while he was drinking water.  You were the COOLEST uncle!!! I wanted to borrow the Riviera for my HS prom. You said to come get it but I didn't because I was afraid I would wreck it. Love you Tio. No more pain. No more suffering. Time to rest. 


Where do I begin!   My Tio  Beto  was a person that helped shape me in my formidable  years.  When he would come over to our house I would get excited to see him.  He brought us "official White Navy Sailor Hats"  and showed us  how to   wear it  Correctly.  Everything   Military and Navy was to be respected!!!  He told us about being in Japan, about his job on the Carrier it was a fascination to me.  He always would take us for rides in his New Cars, I loved his Ford Convertible (had a hard top that  went into the trunk), that was  fun and cool.  I loved him a lot,  I will miss not going to visit him ,  at  the Foster Home and Nursing Home.  He loved  Peterbilt Semi Trucks  over Mack Trucks. Do not forget Dallas Cowboys   they were and will  always be Champs.  Your dog Rugells,  your  music and funny car horns are many memories I have of you.  Your affection you showed me and Hugs I will miss.   May God take care of you,  be healthy  and  Rest and enjoy Our  families  in Heaven. We will be together again. My sincere and deepest condolences to the Esqueda family.  Tio Robert was the BEST  uncle! I remember as a little girl going over to his house and him welcoming us with open arms. Tio Robert showed so much love, joy and was always feeding us all! Thank you Tio for all the great memories. As you live on in Heaven, you'll live on in our hearts always.

Jose Luis, when I got your message to call you I said to myself, "this can not be good early in the morning." It was not. I felt the pain that comes from losing a parent and  I wished I could have given all of you a great big hug..words of sympathy sometimes are so hollow. What came to my mind was memories of your dad, my uncle, and since we were only 10 years apart  he was like a big brother and I always thought of him as such. I recall when he got home from school I wanted to know what happened today, tell me everything you did..I want to know. He would be my mentor in many things. I admired the way he dressed so I could do the same. The music he liked I also grew to like and so on. The memories I have of him are numerous and as I sit here writing this I am re living them in my mind, for memories are something no one can take from us  We shared  many laughs and possibly a tear or two but all of them are cherished. I ask that you and your siblings do the same..relive those cherished memories of him and remember also we will all see him again. My love to all of you, Ralph and Karen and my family as well.

My Tio Beto not only my uncle but my Godfather was the man that really introduced me to football making me a die hard Cowboys fan! My greatest memory of him was as a child we would wake up to loud music he played waking us all up. I never knew the name of the song but it had bird and animal sounds! It was awesome knowing he was home! Rest In Peace my Nino! I love you.

I would like to express our deepest and sincere condolences to the entire Family. I am writing this with great sadness but I have had the Honor of calling this Man Robert Esqueda Tio and privileged in being part of his Life. I have many wonderful memories of my Tio his laughter and sense of humor are only a drop in the bucket his beautiful soul will truly be missed.. Thank you again for all the wonderful Memories. Our Deepest Condolences to the family of my Tio Beto, Jose Luis, Michael, Ruben & Sonia.  Death is a Reality of life.  As strange as that sounds everything remains the same. There is but a Broken Heart that still hurts but  know that Tio Beto is not out of our minds but he's out of Sight until we meet again.  Loosing him, the life that he lived so fondly together with his family and freinds is untouched & unchanged.   The Love of Country was in his heart and he served Proudly as a United State Navy Sailor and he left an amazing family behind.  We will miss you Tio and as the Gates of heaven open give our family who have gone before us a Huge hug & especially Mama Trini and know that you are home.
