Rebecca Marie Dooley, better known to us as “Becky,” has gone to join her beloved husband Doug in Heaven. Born on May 23rd, 1962 to Mary Helen Muñoz (Leo) and Richard (Chito) D. Barron, Becky was always the life of the party and a source of ecstatic energy. She enjoyed many things in life like cooking, traveling and finding adventure wherever she could.
While it is terrible to imagine a world without Becky, we as a family are lucky enough to still have her beautiful daughter Clarissa Monique Ornelas and her beloved Grandson Richard (Babe) Lukas Duran. They will be a constant reminder to all of us that her spirit will never truly be gone. Born into a large family, Becky was also supported by her siblings and numerous nieces and nephews: +Richard Barron Jr. and Tori S. Barron, Suze, Adrian, Naomi Renee and Adrian Richard Aguirre, Bobby, Laura, Jordan, Jacob and Adam Barron, Rachel Muñoz, Rey, Lorrie, Jonathen, Jake and Lauren Muñoz, April and Dan Evans, Christopher and Karen Barron and her youngest brother +Christian Philip Barron. Becky also had a very loving relationship with her godparents Joe and Lovey Cervantes and her many aunts, uncles and cousins. All of us have special memories with Becky and can all agree that her loving spirit and machine-gun laugh will be forever missed.
Becky was the life of every party and the consoling confidant that always offered an ear when she was needed. She was the “fun” aunt who always piled the nephews and nieces into her Ford hatchback and took us on adventures to Roller King and Putt Putt. She was the sister who always brought a comforting shoulder and advice for anyone who needed it. She was the one who taught you how to dance to Mariachi music and always reminded you to try new and exciting things. She was always the first person to call you on your birthday and sing “Las Mañanitas” to make you smile. Even after the loss of her darling husband Doug, Becky made an effort everyday to live her life as she would have with him by her side, never failing to see the positive side of things.
