With profound grief and sorrow we announce the passing of our beloved Pete Payan Jr., son, father, brother, uncle and grandfather on Sunday, November 16, 2014. Pete was a life-long banker and active in many civic organizations. He was preceded in death by his father Pedro Payan Sr., and his wife, Camille Payan. He is survived by his mother Luz Payan, his brothers Miguel & Joe Payan, sister Patricia Brondo, his children Peter Joshua Payan and Lisa Kelli Chavez and their children. A Memorial Service will be held at Hillcrest Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, November 24, 2014 from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. We ask that in lieu of flowers, and in keeping with Pete’s civic-mindedness, that donations be made in his name to the Rescue Mission of El Paso 1949 W.
