Dearest Lara Family....
   Our deepest condolences of the passing of your beautiful Mom.  I have the most beautiful memories of many of us growing up in the neighborhood hanging out while our moms visited.  I recall Patsy, Mary Moore and my mother Lupe Arellano going to night school at Marian Manor taking English classes in the mid 60's admiring their teacher, Mr. Erwin who looked like Paul Newman, whispering comments about him in class not realize he spoke Spanish and blushing.  Patsy and Mom (Las Comadres)  going every Saturday to get their hair done. Those are treasured memories.  God Bless and Comfort all of you for she will be truly missed.  She was a wonderful, loving person with a beautiful smile.

To the daughters of Mrs. Patsy Lara, my warmest sympathies on her passing. I knew her as Mrs. Lara, my mother-in-law who I always called Mrs. Lara' for my genuine respect I always had for her. She was always so mindful of those people who needed support or a helping hand. Her devotion to her family and friends and even for people she didn't even know was evident to those who knew her best. She was a worrier when she didn't need to be, a mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a great grandmother, a counselor, a healer of mind, body and soul, whenever the situation needed a caring hand, a sports enthusiast and fan who always wanted to see a good' game, whatever the sport was. She will be missed in every arena and in all venues of life. Rest in peace, dear lady, because now you're in God's arena.

Dearest Lara family.  As part of the neighborhood family that grew up with your family, we extend our deepest condolences to you. For about 20 years we lived there and watched 6 beautiful girls grow up alongside all of us. It was a huge neighborhood family that took care of each other. Patsy not only had 6 daughters, but always took care of the other kids who would be at her home. She always had food, hugs, love and comfort to share with all of us. She will be truly missed, but it gives us comfort that she will be welcomed by your father and sister Irene.
