I just became aware of Pat's passing today but had an overwhelming sense that this may have been the case. 
My experience with Pat has been incredible. We were strangers until we met in El Paso in early '22. I was in El Paso (from San Antonio area) caring for my father in the hospital around the corner from Pat & Beverly's home. This man took me in as one of his own. He extended trust, generosity, hospitality, encouragement, support, love and kindness to me in ways I have seldom, if ever, experienced in my life.  He gave of his time, care and concern. He opened his home and resources to me; he fed me and helped me financially in ways that were truly humbling. It was difficult to receive such support and generosity from a complete stranger. And yet... he insisted. What an unforgettable God send were Pat and Beverly to me and my family, for which I will be forever grateful.  Beverly, I can't imagine how your heart feels. I know of your love and respect for this great man.  Much love, many prayers and infinite thanks and appreciation...  

So very sorry to hear of Pat’s passing. I will always cherish the memories I have with him going dove hunting and riding quads, especially as I was growing up. From talking military history, going to Lion’s Club meetings, to traveling in a motor home across Texas, I always enjoyed being around this fine man. Pat was such a fun and generous person. Love and miss you Uncle Pat! Until we meet again amigo!

Pat became a Five Points Lion in October 1983 and enjoyed many club activities during his 39+ years of service.  He is fondly remembered by all.

I’m so sorry to here about Pat. I have such great memories of growing up on Greenock, two houses down from the Berry home. May your family find peace and blessings in his memory and love.
