Olivia M. Ortiz, 88, passed away on December 13, 2020. Olivia was predeceased by her loving husband of 53 years, Ricardo F. Ortiz, as well as by her parents, Aurora and Raul Ibarra; her sisters Irma Fernandez and Isela Rivera; and, her brothers Raul Ibarra Jr. and Eduardo Ibarra.
Olivia and Ricardo raised their four children in their community of Socorro, Texas, where together, Olivia and Ricardo ran a successful family business for 27 years. Olivia was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, who unconditionally loved her family. She loved life, children, music, crocheting, cooking, and gardening. Olivia was a bright ray of sunshine and an inspiration to her children. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Olivia is survived by her brother, Salvador Munoz; and, she is also survived by her four children, Gloria Ortiz, Richard Ortiz, Rudy Ortiz, Marta Ocampo and spouse Adan; her five grandchildren, Andrea Ortiz, Matthew Ortiz, Melina Gonzalez, Nicholas Ortiz, and Marissa Ocampo; and, two great grandchildren, Liliana and Ruby Gonzalez.
Private funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Martin Funeral Home East, 1460 George Dieter Dr., El Paso, TX 79936. Flowers and condolences may be sent to Martin Funeral East.
