Marylou Reveles (aka Maria de Lourdes Reveles-Weidensaul), a beloved mother, grandmother, wife, sister, daughter and friend, passed away on July 24th, 2024, at the age of 64. Born in Cheyenne, Wyoming, on April 25th, 1960, Marylou lived life on her own terms, embodying strength, fierce independence, and an unwavering work ethic. Her decisive nature and ability to take action made her an unforgettable presence in the lives of those she encountered. Many knew her as a remarkable hairdresser esteemed for her exceptional skills, passion for her craft, and the pride she took in making each client feel fabulous.
Marylou's beauty radiated beyond her appearance; her generosity, unique sense of humor, and steadfast ambition made a lasting impression on everyone she met. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, guiding her through both challenges and triumphs. She was a fearless leader and an inspiring mentor, always ready to lend support or a listening ear.
She is survived by her parents, Samuel and Alicia Reveles, her siblings Sam Reveles, Freddy Reveles, Rosie Navarro, Alice Reveles and Eddie Reveles, her daughters, Deena Mustin and Jenay Rodriguez, her grandsons, Diego Galvez, Jeremiah Mendiola and Lorenzo Vasquez, and her husband, Todd Weidensaul.
A celebration of her remarkable life will be held at Christ the King Presbyterian Church at 1500 N. Resler Dr. El Paso, Texas 79912 on September 21st, 2024, from 3 PM to 7 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to New City Fellowship in honor of Marylou’s enduring commitment to faith and community.
Marylou Reveles will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for her legacy of love, strength and resilience, which will continue to resonate with everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
