Maria M. Gonzalez

The Lord called another beautiful soul to join Him and her husband Rogelio and daughter Martha on Saturday November 14, 2015. Maria M. Gonzalez, 88, took her last breath in the presence of her children. Maria was born in Lerdo, Mexico where she was a nurse. In her life's journey Maria was a strong woman who loved her family and supported them into the professions they pursued. Maria is survived by her son-in-law Juan Medina (Martha, deceased), daughter Maria Concepcion Perales (Carlos), sons Dr. Rogelio Gonzalez (Bobbi), Felipe Gonzalez (Janeth), Jose Gerardo Gonzalez (Ceci), Luis Angel Gonzalez (Irina) , and Jesus Gonzalez (Rosa). Grandchildren: Sarah, Stephanie, Benjamin, Trevor, Troy, Charlie, Vanessa, Fernando, Rebecca, Luis Angel Jr., Jessica, Jesus Jr., Valerie, and Victoria. Great grandchildren: Sebastian, Amron, Zoe, Avery, and Riley. Visitation will be held on November 18, 2015 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with prayer ceremony at 7:00 pm at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 Carolina Drive, 598-3332. Funeral Service will be on November 19, 2015 at 9:30 am at Hillcrest Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
