Marcos (Marc) Antonio Flores, 50, lifelong resident of El Paso, Texas, passed away peacefully in his sleep on July 14, 2023. Marcos was born to parents Alfonso Skin Flores and Elia Joaquina Flores on January 30, 1973.
He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
Marcos is survived by his two daughters, Rachel Isela Flores and mother Melanie Kathleen Harbaugh, and Jacqueline Rose Flores and mother Lori Keller Del Palacio. He is survived by his fiancé, Monica Marie Cervantes; his brother, Alfonso Flores III (Maria Luisa); sisters, Monica Stelle Velez (Michael Christopher), Rebecca Stella Flores-Fuentes (Carlos), and Maryann Flores. Marcos is also survived by his aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and co-workers.
Marcos is an alumni of the Andress High School Class of 1991. He began his career as a long distance truck driver working for Stevens and Stagecoach Transport Services. On September 8, 2003 he began working for Old Dominion Freight Lines where he enjoyed the rest of his almost 20 year career. He earned yearly Safety Awards for his excellent driving record. On January 1, 2017 he received his 2 million Safe Miles Award. Up until his last trip at Old Dominion, Marcos had driven a total of 2,851,115 safe miles. He loved his family at Old Dominion as much as they loved him. Marcos has now taken his final trip home.
