Lupe R. Camarillo

Lupe R. Camarillo, a native El Pasoan passed away at the age of 96 on January 3, 2017. She was born on September 26, 1920. She worked at Woolworth and Woolco, and was active and served in many positions including President of the VFW Ladies Auxilary Post 8782 and District 10. She was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Camarillo, mother Amalia Romero, siblings, Ramon Romero Jr., Carolina Boesse and Amalia Chacon. Survivors include her son, Johnny Camarillo, daughters, Berta Prieto ( Sp. Humberto), Irene Rivera (Sp. Pedro Jr., Deceased), grandchildren, David, Michael, John and Fred Camarillo, Elizabeth Hayes, Eddie Fuentes, Gloria DeLucio, Frances Villanueva, Richard, Cynthia, Charles, Melissa and James Rivera, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be John, David and Michael Camarillo, Eddie Fuentes, Richard, Charles and James Rivera. Honorary pallbearers are Gonzalo Camarillo, Humberto Prieto and Deacon Fred Camarillo. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 10, from 5:00P.M. to 9:00P.M. at Martin Funeral Home Central, 3839 Montana Ave. with the Rosary at 7:00P.M. Deacon Fred Camarillo, officiating. Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at 1:00P.M. at St. Raphael Catholic Church, 2301 Zanzibar, 79925 with Deacon Fred Camarillo assisting Priest. Interment at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery at 2:30P.M. , Deacon Fred Camarillo officiating.
