It is with our deepest sorrows that we inform you of our beloved Luis Gabriel Gomez Jr., aka “Gomez.” was called home to be with the Lord on November 26, 2020, at the age of 53 due to Covid-19. He is survived by his beautiful mom Guadalupe Molinar Gomez, daughter Jacklyn Moreno, sisters Angie Contreras, Teresa Waltman, Ana Piedra, Monica Gomez and brother Michael Gomez as well as his nieces and nephews. Gomez was a graduate of Burges High School 1986. Cpl Luis Gabriel Gomez Jr. was in the United States Marine Corps from November 14, 1987 to January 15, 1992, Ridge Raider Squad Leader, Infantry, Weapons and Demolition Instructor and a Rifle expert. Gomez was a proud Marine as we were very proud of him. Gomez worked as a truck driver after serving. He was a talented artist, loved pool, music, watching movies and being around his family. Gomez had a huge heart and would often give to the homeless people. We will miss him immensely.
