Luis Braulio Gallegos Sr., aged 74, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday morning, October 1 2024 in El Paso, Texas. He was born in Santiago Papasquiaro Durango, Mexico on March 26, 1950. He was the proud owner of “Gallegos Home Improvement,” a well-known home improvement company, and was often referred to as the “Picasso” of rock walls.
Mr. Gallegos was a man who was compassionate and caring about his family, putting his children even before himself. He was creative, hardworking and loved doing home projects with his son. He would choose to see the good in situations, always giving his love in his own way, to those around him. He enjoyed the blessings of life, dressing up for special occasions, being around his family, and singing and dancing to his favorite rancheritas. His family was always in his thoughts and he was very proud of all of his loved ones, but especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his children, Luis Antonio Gallegos and wife Evelyn Gallegos, Jesse Gallegos, John Peter Denis and wife Brenda Denis, Robert Gasca and daughter Martha Gallegos, mother Maria Felix Gallegos, 16 grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
He is also survived by his brothers Celso Gallegos, Clemente Gallegos, Luciano Gallegos, Ignacio Gallegos, Margarito Gallegos, Julio Gallegos and Jesus Gallegos and sisters, Fidelia Fernandez, Rosa Carrasco, Maria Sotera Najera and Marta Hurtado.
He is preceded in death by his father, Prisciliano Gallegos, and brothers, Esteban Gallegos, Agustin Gallegos and Narcisso Gallegos.
