He had many acquaintances, from the Tigua Smoke Shop to every convenience store from home to the barrio: known as candyman because he was always giving out candies. Loyal to many lifetime friends. He always had your back. Always O.G. aka nightowl His passion and commitment was family. Made my morning coffee, home cooking for lunch, writing love notes. Told me daily he loved me and thank me for being his wife. Love for his daughter was relentless and forgiving. Two little “doggies” (Grandson’s) were unconditionally loved. Not afraid to be silly or laugh at himself. His smile was infectious and his dichos infamous. Calls to “La jefa” “Carnal” and friends were routine. He was known for his shrimp cocktail, chile con queso, camping clamato and Sweetie’s albondigas. Enjoyed Sunday cookouts with friends, oldies, the Cowboys and reminiscing their desmadres. Loved ice cream, snickers and snack cakes with milk. Loved watching Gunsmoke, Bonanza and Law and Order. Cried watching Mrs. Doubtfire and quoted Scareface.
Although he lived life with regrets, he was loved by many for his kindness, affection and forgiving ways.
Survived by Elena (wife), Monique (daughter), Cylus and Kenny (grandsons).
