Linda was born July 28, 1948, in El Paso, TX to parents Virginia and Matta Elias. Her family moved to Dell City, TX in 1957 where she attended school and made many lifelong friends.
Linda married Allen Kasparian in 1964 and together they had and raised three children. The family moved to Deming, NM in 1974 and then moved to Duncan, AZ in 1976. Linda & her family had many close friends in the Duncan community.
In 1998, Linda married Roger Loper. They resided in Cloudcroft, NM where Roger was a custom home builder. Linda and Roger had an extended family where they loved each other’s children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren like their own. Linda’s family was always her priority and she always tried to be there to help someone in times of need.
Linda always had a dream of having her own restaurant, so, in 2004, she and Roger made that dream a reality and opened “Big Daddy’s Diner”. With a lot of hard work, time & patience they built the diner from an old garage and in just a few years would serve hundreds of hungry customers. For years they served the local community as well as vacationers and travelers from all over the country until their retirement in 2013. In their retirement, she enjoyed spending time cooking for family & friends, playing bingo & their beloved furry babies Sparky, Rusty and Tucker.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Lori Kasparian; her brother David Elias; her sister Mary Ann Thomas and her sister Lucy Trudeau.
Linda is survived by her husband, Roger Loper; her sons Charlie Kasparian (Kerry) and Steven Kasparian; her stepchildren Brenda Loper, Carl Loper, Debbie Loper, Dale Loper; her brothers George Elias, Bill Elias, Charles Elias; her sisters Lamayda Stephens, Joann Harmeier, Tami Elias, Surella (Sudie) Nasser and Adele (Della) Guevara.
Linda also leaves 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren to cherish her memory.
A Visitation for Linda will be held Saturday, April 13, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Martin Funeral Home West, 128 N Resler Dr, El Paso, Texas 79912, with a Prayer Service beginning at 12:00 PM.
