She was preceded in death by her big brother, Bryce James Worthington. She is survived by her mother, Ruth Salais; her father, Edward H. Worthington III; her brother, Edward Seth Worthington; her grandparents, David and Celia Salais, James Daly; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Julia was beautiful inside and out. She had a deep love for her grandma and grandpa. She had a very caring soul and loved her family, cousins, friends, and pets. Julia LOVED Hello Kitty; she always took pictures of beautiful sunsets and loved going for nighttime drives with her mom and listening to music. Music was her thing. She wanted to travel the world and was excited to grow up and experience what life had to offer.
On September 22nd, Julia went in for her first and final surgery, where an honor walk would take place. Family, friends, and amazing medical staff lined the pathway from the ICU to the OR of the hospital, where Julia’s final act was to give the gift of life through organ donation. Julia saved a total of seven lives, two of whom are children. Julia lives on.
With our hands on our hearts, our family would like to thank all the healthcare workers at The Hospitals of Providence East Campus who worked tirelessly on our beloved Julia. She was treated like a princess until the very end, and we are forever thankful for that.
Julia is now safe in the arms of Jesus.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.MartinFuneralHomeEast.com for the Worthington family.
