Juliet (Judy) MacIver McLellan passed away peacefully on May 9, 2022 at the age of 84. Judy was born on December 14, 1937 in El Paso Texas to Julieta and Wilson MacIver. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She graduated from Austin High School where she met her future husband Anton (Tony) McLellan in the Austin High School Band. She graduated from Texas Western College (UTEP) with a degree in Elementary Education and was a member of the Delta Gamma Sorority.
Judy taught first grade for 35 years, the last 28 years were at Cielo Vista Elementary where she was named Teacher of the Year, and Teacher of the Year for the Central District.
Judy and Tony enjoyed traveling. They traveled in the U.S., Canada, Europe and took several cruises. They also enjoyed spending time at their Ruidoso cabin with their family.
Judy was an avid reader and loved to play games. She belonged to the El Paso Retired Teachers Association and the Assistance League of El Paso.
Judy is survived by her husband Anton (Tony) of 61 years, her daughter Jennifer Rasor (Ron), grandsons Mark (Jasmine), Matthew, and Michael Rasor, and great-grandchildren Amelie, Natalie, Trenton, and Autumn Rasor.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 N. Carolina, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be Thursday, June 2, 2022 at St. Raphael Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
