Josefina P. Pantoja

Josefina (Josie) Pantoja longtime resident of El Paso passed away peacefully on Friday, May 23, 2014 at the age of 93. She was a dedicated loving mother and friend to all who knew her. She will be remembered for her passion to preserve family history, love of music, sewing and lighting up the day with her numerous jokes. She was preceded in death by her husband Jose and sons: Ernesto, Roberto, Victor, and Jose A. She is survived by her son: Enrique, daughters: Lupe, Dolores and Linda, 13 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild, sisters: Berta, Carolina, Alicia Aurora, and many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank Father Renfro for always being there for her. Also, thank you to the ladies of Morales Foster Home for gently taking care of Mom in her final days. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 28, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Funeral Home-Carolina with a Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at 9:15 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
