Dear Joe in heaven, I was very sad to come across your obituary today (1/29/24).  You were an amazing boss during my Furrs/Safeway years.  Truly a good man.  I’m so sorry for your family and friends….no doubt you are dearly missed. I googled your name today, for a chance I might come across your name and who you were working for, in hopes you might have needed an employee. Instead, I found your obituary.  What happened? Thank you for being an amazing supervisor and friend…..I never forgot you and your brother Robert. Genuinely good people. Rest in Peace Sir. Maybe I’ll see you some day.

My Condolences to the Nieto family.  Joe was an awesome friend of mine that was always funny, full of energy and just great to be around with. I enjoyed playing with him on the gulf course hitting trees, flipping golf carts and just plain talking on the phone about just about anything.  I know Joe loved his family very much and would do anything no matter what for his wife Mary and his children. I could go on and on but I do know that Joe will be dearly missed by everyone that knew him. Rest in peace my brother till we meet again. God Bless the Nieto family my heart bleeds for you. Sending my condolences to the Nieto family. I have very fond memories of my uncle Joe who was very early on designated the family historian. As a child, I remember him with his video camera documenting all family events, including many of my own.  His narration was always full of laughter and comedy. My uncle Joe provided us with our first pictures of Santa Clause, which he played for many years, before passing the torch to my brother David. He was the life of the party and always provided the music and laughter. I was blessed to have him living down the road from our house. So I grew up with him, my Aunt Mary and cousins by my side.  I’m sadden by his passing. However, I am blessed to have so many fond memories and happy he was a part of my formative years. Much love to my Aunt Mary and Cousins, Christy (RIP) Adrain and Tony.
