Jose Montoya, 89, beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great-grandfather and Brother entered into eternal life on March 27, 2017. He was born March 19, 1928, was a lifetime resident of El Paso and member of the Catholic Church. He graduated from Cathedral High School and served in the US Navy as a radioman aboard carriers USS Antietam and USS Boxer. He received a Bachelor's Degree in business administration from Texas Western College. He retired from the US Postal Service. Jose enjoyed golf, fishing, bowling, dancing and especially music as an accomplished piano player. He is preceded in death by his parents, Simon and Guadalupe Campos Montoya, brothers Raul and Raymundo Montoya, sisters Elisa Campos, Elvira Parra, Maria Luisa Gonzales, and grand-daughter Sara Gonzalez. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Josefina Carrillo Montoya; sons Jose (Ana) of El Paso, Edmundo (Sandy) of Elmwood, IL, and Carlos (Mayra) of San Jose, CA., and daughters Elia (Charles) Medina of El Paso and Eva (Gerardo) Gonzalez of Allen, TX; sister Ana Maria Gamboa and brother Antonio of El Paso and brother Rodolfo of Ewa Beach, HI; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Loving you always, forgetting you never.

Visitation will be Sunday, April 2, 2017 from 5:00 to 9:00pm with recitation of the rosary beginning at 7:00pm at Martin Central Funeral Home, 3829 Montana Ave, El Paso TX 79903. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 3, 2017 at 12:30pm at All Saints Catholic Church, 1415 Dakota St. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
