Jose G. Gallegos, WWII Veteran, passed away peacefully in his home on October 20, 2014 at the age of 93.Retired General Production Manager from Featherlite Corp. He is preceded in death by his wife: Josephine R. Gallegos. Jose is survived by his daughters: Esther G. Haygood, Rose Gallegos, Sylvia G. Peña; son: Richard Gallegos; grandchildren: Ruth Williams, Paul Acre, Adam Acre, Mark Haygood, Eric Gallegos, Jenny Gallegos, Carlos Molina Jr., Elizabeth Meza, Cynthia Molina; and 24 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 9:00 pm on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at Hillcrest Funeral Home-Carolina with a Rosary at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be at 12:15 pm on Friday, October 24, 2014 at San Antonio de Padua Catholic Church 7509 North Loop Dr. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
