It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Janice Arlene (Brownlow) Stewart on June 6, 2023. Janice was born at the Southwestern Hospital and passed away 72 years later at the same location.
Janice's date of birth was July 8th, 1950. She was an Austin High School alumnus, and Fort Bliss Management Analyst in Manpower. Janice loved the Christmas season. She made festivities a time of joy and giving to her family and those who knew her. She was well known to extravagantly decorate both inside and outside of her home for every holiday. Janice was known for her warm and welcoming celebration dinners and Bunco Parties with office friends. She ensured her guests felt cherished and appreciated. This generosity was her signature way of expressing how much she loved, echoing the message to enjoy life.
She was predeceased by her parents Robert Brownlow and Florence (Trimble) Brownlow.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 46 years, Robert (Bob) Stewart; children: Thomas Stewart (Jamie), Jennifer Stewart, and Kimberly Stewart; grandchildren: Joshua Stewart and Michael Stewart; brothers: Roger Brownlow and Gerald Brownlow (Eva Glow), and numerous friends.
A visitation for Janice will be held Wednesday, June 21, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Restlawn, 8817 Dyer, El Paso, TX 79904. Graveside Services will be held at 10am on Thursday, June 22, 2023 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with reception to follow at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 7000 Edgemere.
