Frank was born June 4, 1959 in El Paso, Texas to Maria de la Cruz and Jose Antonio Valdez. The third of eight children, Frank was always known as being in the middle of the excitement. He always had a strong sense of family, something that stayed with him as he raised his own children.
He married the love of his life, Veronica Martinez, in 1982. Soon after their home filled with their four boys and other nephews, with Frank leading them on adventures and sharing his knowledge. As in his childhood, Frank led his boys & countless nephews in mischief so they could learn how to be better people and be more independent. Camping weekends were an even bigger adventure with Frank around. He wanted to be a part of everything and everyone’s memories; he succeeded.
His Influence will always be noticed with his grandchildren, where Frank really became a legend for his jokes and teachings. His name fit him perfectly, with family remembering his honesty and frankness. He could always be counted on to say it how it is, regardless.
He Is preceded in death by both his parents, brothers, Victor, Javier and Robert and sister Consuelo “Chelo”.
Frank is survived by his wife, Veronica, sons Joe, Daniel, David, and Richard; 10 grandchildren and countless nieces and nephew who will continue to share his memories.
