Francisca Tellez

Frances was born in El Paso to Maria and Manuel Martinez on January 2 1936. She was a wonderful sister to her 8 siblings. She graduated from Bowie high school in 1954.

She married the love of her life, Arturo Tellez, on September 28 1958 and went on to have 4 children. She was the sweetest mother and never let anyone leave her home without something to eat.

She sang in the church choir for 30 years, she loved to knit blankets for family members and new mothers, and she looked forward to her line-dance performances with The Mariposas. Above all, she loved God. She passed her love of God to anyone she came across, but especially her family.

She is survived by her honey, Arturo Tellez. Her children and their partners: Art and Wendy, Ray and Adela, Ron and Geanna, and Grace and Fernando. Her siblings: Delia Montes and Jesus Martinez. Her grandchildren: Art, Andrew, Amanda, Alex, Jacob, Nadia, Derek, Chris, Lea, Isaac, Brandon, Jaclyn, Ivan, and Aron. Her great grandchildren: Justin, Alyssa, Jayden, Jaxon, and Jyles.

Rosary will be on Tuesday, May 14, at 6pm at Martin Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 15, at 9am at San Antonio de Padua Church. Burial will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery at 1030am. Celebration of life and light refreshments to follow immediately after at Martin Funeral Home.
