Fernando was born in El Paso on October 22, 1947, to father Jose Mario and mother Ana; his family lovingly referred to him as “Chito”.
“Chito” proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1968 until 1974.
Fernando was preceded in death by his parents and by his brothers Manuel, Marcelino and his sister Raquel and his stepmother Gloria.
Children Jacob, Grace, Abram, Isaac (Rose), Alejandro, Fernando Jr. and Samuel, grandchildren Ivy, Zoe, Sasha, Jesus, Xavier, Isaac Jr, Melissa, Nico, Aiden and Mason; and great-granddaughter Scarlett, Siblings Rubyna, Martha, Mario and Manuel Omar survive him.

The Escobedo family would like to thank the staff of William Beaumont Army Medical Center for their care of Fernando in his final days. The family is also greatly appreciative of the staff at Martin Funeral Home West for their support and services through this difficult time.
