My goodbyes to a wonderful, thoughtful, spiritual and honest friend in life. Mrs. Munoz was an angel here on earth. We volunteered together for over 40 years in catechism. We went through hard times and good times along with my buddy, my partner in crime Liz.  They both taught me how to fight for the Lord and to follow his ways. I will miss both of them dearly! May u both Rest In Peace ! Cookie Valdiviez 

To the entire family of Mrs. Muñoz,
My family and I, offer our sincerest condolences on  your loss.
I had the pleasure of knowing Mrs. Muñoz from attending church and going to school with one of her granddaughters. 
She was always with a smile and a kind greeting when I'd see her, that it would remind me of my own grandmother. It was with such an affection, that gave you a warm feeling inside.
What I truly admired about her though, was her undying faith. Faith that she showed through her proclamation of the liturgy or through her voice in song. Her voice was strong, singing about our Lord and our blessed mother, Mary.  
There was nothing like it. 

Thank you for always being so kind to me, Mrs. Muñoz. You and Liz would see me, smile, and we'd greet each other or engage in small talk. Sweet memories that I will take with me always.
May you rest in peace with our Lord and our blessed mother, Mary, in his heavenly kingdom.

May you all be comforted by our Lord, during this difficult time.

First time Ayelech, her great-granddaughter, met Abui. 

Citlalin, granddaughter of Abi, and Ayelech affectionately interacting with one another. 

I’m very blessed to have had a grandmother from infancy all the way up until adulthood. Abui was able to experience and guide me as I grew into an adult, a wife, and a mother. Not o my was I able to enjoy the perks of having a grandmother and delicious comida every Sunday, but my children were able to experience that as well! Thank you Abui for your love, your advice, your prayers and blessings, for loving me and my husband and especially my children. Descance en Paz con nuestro Senor! 🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

When growing up, Abui was the go to grandmother I had to be consoled, laugh, love, and be happy. I'll always cherish the moments I've had with Abui, especially when Aunt Lisa was in the room. I still hold in my memory, when my Mom and I would go to Abui's house only to find Abui and Aunt Lisa not in the house yet. We would be waiting in the kitchen, then my Mom would tell me to check outside if I can spot them walking from a distance..... Sure enough, I would see Abui and Aunt Lisa walking back home, from Church. I remember running up to them, saying hi, and walking back with them to the house. Even as I went to Phoenix, AZ for college, every Sunday I would always call Abui to hear her voice and her loving greeting. Eating at Abui's house was like a buffet, Abui will feed and feed you until you get full, and then feed you some more. I'll miss Abui so much, but I am beyond thankful to God for giving me such a loving grandmother, let alone being a part of the family I am in today. I can only imagine how happy Abui is right now in heaven, living in her beautiful mansion, surrounded by a big beautiful garden, accompanied with Grandpa, Aunt Lisa, Uncle Pepe, and all of the families, Angels, and Saints. Give Jesus a big hug for me Abui. I'm sure it's beyond breath taking seeing Our Father in heaven, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. 

Every step I take, every breath I take, is one step closer to  you again.

Te quiero mucho, Abui. 

Such a wonderful holy woman who was always so generous and loving to me. I will miss her but rejoice knowing she is with the Lord and  will remain an inspiration to everyone she touched.



What a beautiful sole this woman had.  I just LOVED being able to spend the two days a week with her.  Didn’t understand what she was saying, but, we always laughed and enjoyed holding hands.  I loved her story about her grandmother having 24 children.  She was so kindhearted.  She gave me a blessing every time I was leaving.  And at the end she would say, “I hope you find a nice boyfriend” or “I hope you don’t get chased by a dog.”  Then she would laugh!  I am truly sorry to see her go but she is with our Lord.  May you rest in peace Ms Munoz.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Every Sunday when I was a kid we would be eating lunch in the kitchen and after eating three plates of gorditas and red enchiladas, abui said for me not to be embarrassed and eat another plate, and I would…… even though I was full! 😂❤️

Just a warm message to the siblings to state my deepest sentiments of love, empathy and understanding for their sorrow and grief.  I too am a witness to all that she did for her church, community, and for her family. She was indeed a strong witness to God's children as she loved to share the Gospel message. 

I'm glad she's now experiencing joy and peace in the presence of God, in her new home, a home we all aspire to be received into.
