Emma R Mora, age 76, loving mother of three, and adoring wife to husband Joe Mora Jr, passed away in the early hours of September 10, 2022, after a courageous battle with cancer. Emma was born in 1946 in El Paso, TX. She grew up surrounded by her large family with 10 siblings; Preceded in death by Ginny, Francisco, and Johnny; Survived by Margie, Carmen, Estella, Yolanda, and Pedro, Luis, and Rafael. Emma was the most loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, always so giving to everyone around her. She met her husband Joe in 1963 on a blind date, they fell in love and married in 1967. They both shared a love for family and eventually had three children of their own. She was a wonderful mother and grandma (Nana). In her eyes, her grandchildren could never do no wrong. Emma was a strong believer who loved the LORD with all her heart, and she passed that faith onto her family. She demonstrated the love of Christ and what it meant to have a relationship with our Savior. We know that she will continue to always live in our hearts and one day we will be reunited with our precious Emma. Until that day comes, we know that she is fully healed and rejoicing in the presences of the Lord, in her glorified body.
Emma is survived by her husband, Joe Mora Jr.; daughters, Christine Molina and Debra Yvette Mora; son, Joe Carlitos Mora; grandson, Isaiah Mora; and granddaughters, Samantha, and Sarah Molina. There will be a service for those who would like to join us in celebrating Emma and the beautiful person she was to all who knew her. The visitation service will be on Thursday, September 15, 2022, at Martin Funeral Home East, 1460 George Dieter from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM and Friday, September 16, 2022, at Alive Fellowship Church, 5505 Will Ruth Ave. at 8:00 AM with the burial at Ft Bliss immediately afterwards.
