We will remember Emily for her unique sense of humor, her authenticity, her witty remarks, and her love for her family. Emily’s smile lifted spirits, warmed hearts, and her laughter echoed with a vibrant energy that was impossible to resist.
She was a caring mother who consistently empowered her daughter, Adelina, to embrace her own path in pursuing her passions with an unwavering belief in Adelina’s potential. As an insurance agent, Emily was recognized as a leading performer for her company, while also being appreciated by her customers for tailoring each policy to their specific needs. In her free time, Emily expressed herself as a self-taught painter, an accomplished songwriter, and a fabulous cook.
Emily is survived by her daughter, Adelina Chavez, her mother, Christine Bronsten, her step-father, Jim Hafft, her brother, Daniel Bronsten, her sister-in-law, Beth Bronsten, her nephew, Joseph Bronsten, her niece, Ruby Bronsten, her step-sister, Ianna Hafft, and her aunt, Francie Calkins. Emily is preceded in death by her father, Edward Bronsten.
Emily will be interred at Oakmont Memorial Park in Lafayette, CA, on July 26, 2024. A Celebration of Emily’s Life will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024, 11:30 am, at Unity of Walnut Creek. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any donations be made to your local NAMI organization in Emily’s name.
We miss Emily tremendously. Her memory will always endure as she lives in our hearts eternally. May her remembrance bring us solace in our time of grief, and may her vivacious spirit continue to inspire us all.
