Elena R Medina

On September 2, 2021 Elena R Medina went home to be with her Lord and her loved ones who preceded her. While she will be dearly missed, her fierce love and loyalty for her family and all of the beautiful memories she made will always be in our thoughts and our hearts. Elena was born in Clint, TX and raised in El Paso where she lived with her Husband Daniel Medina until his passing Aug 19, 2012. Elena relocated to Dallas and split her time between Dallas and El Paso from then on. Elena was an extraordinary wife, loving mother and an amazing grandmother and great grandmother. Her life was spent caring for others and finding joy in the company of her friends and beloved family.

Elena is preceded in death by her loving husband Daniel Medina, her parents and her brothers and sisters.

Elena is survived by her sister Rosie Guadian; loving children Corina Medina, Ricardo Medina, Naomi Olmos and Belinda Montoya; grandchildren Diana and Lamb, Albert, Nellie, Joseph, Gracie, Ruby, Vanessa, Crystal, Jaqueline, Felix, Felicia, Jeweliane, Jenevive, Mariah and 21 great grandchildren. A special mention goes to Blakely, who shared a home in Dallas from her birth with her “Mimi”-there was no shortage of giggles, sleepovers and late night ice cream snacks.

Services will be held on Friday September 17th at Crestview funeral home, 1462 N Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, TX 79936. Viewing will be from 5-8pm. Celebration of life at 5pm.
