David S. Young, 77, of El Paso, TX, passed away November 1, 2021. He was born in El Paso, TX on July 13, 1944, to Donovan B. Young Sr. and Roberta Alice Seward. David graduated from Austin High School and received an Associate from Texas Western. He married Dalal Aboud on July 5, 1984. David worked as a City Inspector for The City of El Paso. He was a member of the Air Force and fought in the Vietnam War, and had a passion for reading, traveling and jazz music. He was survived by his loving wife of 37 years Dalal A. Young; daughter Grace Young Garcia (Adan); grandson Evan David Garcia; sister Connie Young Sharp (Mickey).
Visitation will be Sunday, November 7, 2021 from 6pm-9pm with Trisaigon Service at 7pm at Martin Funeral Home West; 128 N. Resler Dr. El Paso, TX 79912. Funeral Service will be Monday, November 8, 2021 at Noon at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, 120 N. Festival Dr. El Paso, TX 79912. Interment will follow at 1:30pm at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave. Fort Bliss, TX 79906. Arrangements are under the direction of Martin Funeral Home West.
